Today is a perfect Autumn day,
High pressure with gentle breeze.
Cloud and sun with light each play,
And with each other clear at ease.

No requirement now for all blue sky,
A balance is just as good.
And neither to outdo the other will try,
As each knows they never could.

For as summer leaves and winter looms,
There is change which with both trades.
The brush of Autumn, the sky now grooms,
And we're treated to all its shades.
