Coswecan

We bought a brand new caravan,
Quite modest, as never wealthy.
And decided we'd call it Coswecan,
Because then thankfully both still healthy.

In it we'd soon seen so much more,
Of the land we call our home.
Yet had still a lot left to explore,
To rejoice in and to roam.

We were in a club and had good friends,
With whom we shared some jolly jaunts.
Which to its sheer enjoyment lends,
All meeting up at favorite haunts.

But all good things come to an end,
And caravanning is just the same.
Too soon we'd enjoyed our one last wend,
And reluctant homeward came.

So now it sits upon the drive,
Never venturing beyond.
Though our wanderlust remains alive,
Of our caravan still yet fond.

But when people ask us why the case,
We tell them, travel more now we shan't.
And explain with reluctance, yet with grace,
The reason sadly, coswecan't.
