Here's a sorry story,
About my tabby cat.
Last month it was run over,
And now it's very flat.

To try and keep it company,
I bought it a flatmate.
They're very hard to come by,
And I had to pay flat rate.

When they have their dinner,
I feed them both flatfish,
And give them decent helpings,
Yes of course, in a flat dish.

They sit on their flat bottoms,
And lick at their flat feet.
Then go outside and lay flat out,
In the warm and sunny street.

But soon I'll have to sell them,
As when today I woke.
I realised my keeping them,
Has meant I'm now flat broke.
