Good Morning World

Good morning world, how are you,
Did you have a lovely night?
How's the day look from your view,
Is it going to be alright?

Will everyone be happy, not sad,
And healthy, not unwell?
For all will life be good not bad,
As far as you can tell?

Will the poor upon their waking find,
Relief for all privations?
And neighbours, strangers all be kind,
Same for warring countries, nations?

Will those enduring the pain of grief,
Find today their cross is gone?
And the anxious and depressed, relief,
The troubled, all cares are none?

Will the lonely find they are no more,
Have the company they crave?
And those in sight of the exit door,
Find the courage to be brave?

Will those considering an early end,
Find a savior intervenes?
And those with pain hard to comprehend,
To cope, have all the means?

I know this can't be the case for all,
As in turn the world gets dressed.
And fate will on each quite different call,
But please, can you do your best?
