I forgot to take a photo, and now regret I can't go back,
Time preventing me from turning ‘round along its one-way track.
Its scene so photogenic can never such be recreated,
There's no way now that the moment can be ever reinstated.

Moved-on the scene, the people; the event, its time, the day,
Never again those things will come together quite in that way.
An instant that so recent was yet a memory in the making,
Now gone from briefest present; a snapshot lost but for the taking.
