The equinox brings light relief,
And the days will now get longer.
An end to winter's laggard thief,
Who yields to sun now stronger.

A change of clocks bring evenings back,
From hiding long indoors.
Re-paints these bright from lamp-lit black,
As hope the springtime pours.

And soon the stage will be full set,
And its curtain slow withdrawn.
Revealing what we know but yet,
Is a joy to see reborn.
