Summer's Spell

Music – see About

So lovely, you tightly hold my hand,
As we chase and laugh across the sand.
Warm sun, blue sky, cool gentle sea,
A haven to which we longing flee.
Summer, seeming sweet and soft, never-ending, life lived full,
In each other's arms on a sunset beach, we lie to the ocean's push and pull.
Time, please don’t let the season go,
Now its very best we’ve come to know.
Please stretch the days beyond their span,
Fill them full with fun and treats as can.
Summer, seeming sweet and soft, never-ending, life lived full,
In each other's arms on a sunset beach, we lie to the ocean's push and pull.
And when our last day's sun is set,
Let's delight that it’s here where we first met.
Enjoy our last long warm evening roam,
Before we separate again to head back home.
Summer, seeming sweet and soft, never-ending, life lived full,
In each other's arms on a sunset beach, we lie to the ocean's push and pull.
Please say we’ll meet here yet again,
Head back upon that sun bound plane.
Goodbye till then, take care, farewell,
Until we next succumb to summer’s spell.
