The Beauty Rule

What is the beauty that we see,
Why beautiful at all?
And why sometimes unique to me,
Same to others which may appall?
Is beauty just a sense within,
And never exists in truth without?
So a prize we‘ll inconsistent win,
But something all have a sense about.
If so, is there a beauty rule,
Which underpins our world perception?
Taught by life at experience school,
Which we attend from our inception.
And does this rule if exists in sooth,
Then colour all our decision?
To help inform our search for truth,
With due guidance and precision.
And could that rule be simply this:
When believing beauty’s in our sight.
Though something others might well dismiss,
We can be assured for us is right?
From the melange of all in life we've done,
And the people that we've met.
Emotional voyages, with each begun,
Which will ever inform us yet.
For beauty is ourselves projected,
Sum of all we've seen and felt.
From a place deep in protected,
The cards for life which we've been dealt.
So when we see it, we beauty know,
The wondrous worth of what we are.
Evolving and ever changing slow,
As through life's beauty, journey far.
