Every evening the Sun goes down, and we just can't call it back,
Canute-like, we are helpless; the power to do so clear we lack.
So where is it the threshold lies between change and what we can't?
And beyond that, what we think we should as distinct from what we shan't.

Though our influence may be truly small, much more so than we think,
Many from a pool of unrealism, will I expect ever hearty drink.
So being realistic about the things, that change we never could,
Will help us better identify what we can and maybe should.
